I am a 20 year old student living in Southampton, UK. When taking a break from studying I am probably watching films, taking photos, or deep in discussion about life, the universe, and everything, but I am definitely tweeting about it.
I study at the University of Southampton where I am in the second year of a 4 year MEng course in Computer Science, specialising in Mobile and Secure System.

There are basically 2 options for internet in the UK: BT (phone line based) connections through BT themselves and resellers, with a maximum speed of around 24Mb, or Virgin Media (fibre based) connections which max out at about 120Mb currently, although the technology supports >400Mb. For a house of 8 Computer Science students, we don’t really have an option but to go with the latter…
